Fórsa is to consider plans to transfer the Ambulance Control function for the Dublin Fire Brigade from Tara Street to Tallaght, having been notified of the intention to change the location of the function by Dublin City Council (DCC).

Representatives from the Dublin Fire Brigade branch are set to meet with Fórsa officials to formulate a response, along with representatives from Siptu.

Fórsa official Dessie Robinson says that further consultation will be necessary to address the concerns of staff and to ensure agreement on any such transfer of the function.
