Fórsa’s health and welfare members all across the country have been gathering at their branch annual general meetings (AGMs) over the last number of weeks.

AGMs are an excellent opportunity for members to meet, elect committees and set branch policy for the year ahead.

This year, branches are working hard to draft conference motions ahead of the Health and Welfare Divisional Conference, set to take place in May.

Head of Health and Welfare Ashley Connolly said it was encouraging to see such strength and unity across the branches as they prepare for conference.

“I’ve attended many AGMs, as have my colleagues Linda Kelly and Denis Keane. We have met a lot of members over the last few weeks. It’s great to see our members gather, for some for the first time since the pandemic. We have fantastic energetic activists, and our branches are working really hard to organise, recruit and deliver for members locally,” she said.

There’s never been a better time to join a union, and it’s never been easier. Join Fórsa today.
