Fórsa’s Roscommon Local Government branch held a recruitment and organising event last week (26th January), to introduce the union to new members and catch up with existing members.

Supported by management this event and was well attended by both new and current Fórsa members.

Branch chairperson Florie Hickey thanked official Seamus Smith and the management of Roscommon County Council and for their support and assistance during the meet and greet.

“It makes event’s like this much more successful when you have the support of the management within the building. The event has led to the sign up of several new members and we welcome them all,” she said.
