Fórsa members in Uisce Éireann have voted overwhelmingly to accept a pay proposal to cover a two-year period from 1st January 2024 to 31st December 2025.

The deal provides for pay increases averaging 7.7% over the two-year deal. As part of the pay discussions, a salary range refresh process was completed and shows a movement in each of the salary ranges. The salary range refresh will be applied from the 1st January 2024, and again any increases from a market refresh next year will apply from the 1st January 2025.

Fórsa official Derek Kelleher explained that these market refreshes may further improve the lower and mid-range paid members pay dependant on their position in the bands.

“The group of unions have also ensured that a market refresh would be done in 2024 and 2025 to achieve salary range increases that occurred during the period since the last market refresh. Members will begin to see the results of this hard negotiated pay deal in their payslips over the next 4-6 weeks, and all pay adjustments will be back dated to the 1st January 2024,” he said.
