Fórsa’s Kildare Health Branch held two fully booked competency-based interview training sessions this week, free for union members.

The workshops were tailored to cater for members of the branch, with one for administrative professionals and the other for health and social care professionals.

Branch chairperson Gary Buckley said the interest in this training was incredible, with both the sessions completely booked to capacity within a few days.

“The interview training is a popular one. It’s a two-hour workshop with a lot in it. There’s support with the application form, with answering unexpected interview questions, the STARR method and even how to deal with nerves. I know a lot of members have internal job interviews coming up soon, so I hope it helps,” he said.

“We’ll be linking in with our members again in the future and responding to collective training needs they may have. Our Branch offers a range of benefits and initiatives that members can get involved in throughout the year. It’s important that they stay updated on all our activity and make the most of their membership. Watch this space for more,” he said.
