A new video message from school secretaries, special needs assistants (SNAs) and caretakers is urging their colleagues to join the union.

 

As Ireland’s fastest growing education union, Fórsa now supports more than 15,000 workers in the education sector.

 

The video compiles photos and video messages from Fórsa's schools membership around the country about why they joined and the benefits of union membership.

 

Members tell their story about union membership, providing a strong message for school and classroom staff thinking about joining up.

 

Letterkenny school secretary Kathleen O'Doherty said: “This is a timely call to our colleagues in schools about the power of what we can achieve together. It reminds us of how we must work together even as we are kept apart during the pandemic.”
