Delays on ambulance move and quad pilot
by Bernard Harbor

Fórsa is attending a Workplace Relations Commission hearing into the HSE’s failure to provide funding to move the ambulance control room out of its Dublin fire brigade location in Tara Street. The union and Dublin City Council reached agreement on the move last May, but it was subject to the HSE providing funding.

Meanwhile, the start of a pilot of quad-based housing caretakers has been moved to March. It was due to start at the end of last month, but management moved the date. The pilot will test the replacement of individual caretaker’s in flat complexes and other settings with a quad based system.
