SNA ballot opens on Monday
by Hannah Deasy

Over 18,000 Special Needs Assistants who are members of Fórsa will be asked to vote on the new SNA Workforce Development Plan (SNAWDP) in a ballot that opens next week.

The ballot will run from Monday 22nd July to Wednesday 1st July. It is an online ballot, taking place through the Mi-Voice platform. To vote, members will receive a Unique Voting Code (UVC) by email.

The ballot will ask members two questions. The first question will ask members if they accept or reject the Workforce Development Plan, while the second question will ask members if they accept or reject the local bargaining offer of increased pay.

If members encounter any issues accessing the Mi-Voice platform they should email: edhelp@forsa.ie There is also a guide on online voting available here.

Over 18 regional information meetings have now taken place, as well as a series of national online meetings.

There is an information hub on the Fórsa website which includes all documentation related to the SNAWDP. You can access the hub here.

We have created as series of documents to help members understand the proposals. You can view them here:
