Dublin fire fighters vaccinated

Fórsa official Dessie Robinson said: “This is excellent progress. It’s vital that we continue to protect our essential frontline workers.”

Over 98% of Dublin fire-fighters paramedics have now been vaccinated, Fórsa can confirm.

 

Vaccinations of the workers, who are in the 1b category of frontline staff, paused in January when supplies earmarked for Dublin Fire Brigade were redirected to nursing homes.

 

Following negotiations, Fórsa received confirmation that the vaccination rollout for the fire fighters, who are also paramedics, would resume. Fórsa official Dessie Robinson said: “This is excellent progress. It’s vital that we continue to protect our essential frontline workers.”
