Fórsa launched a detailed report in response to the recent National Council for Special Education (NCSE) review of the special needs assistant (SNA) role at its recent education conference. The union response was based on the views of 4,000 SNAs, who either attended one of 28 meetings held nationwide or participated in the union’s in-depth surveys.

The report gives an overview of the feedback on each individual NCSE recommendation, along with a series of specific recommendations from the union.
