Fórsa is to write to the Labour Court seeking to reopen a claim for an independent job evaluation scheme in the local government sector. The Court had earlier asked the union to provide a business case for the scheme, which the union has since completed.

 

In the previous round of talks with the Local Government Management Authority (LGMA) in the Labour Court, both sides acknowledged that further direct discussions were unlikely to alter the respective positions of the parties.
