Fórsa has welcomed a motion on the remunicipalisation of waste management in Dublin city, which was passed by Dublin City Council last week.

Fórsa has expressed concerns over the delay in a Government announcement of a referendum that could underpin the future public ownership of water services in Ireland.

Planned increases in the State pension age will cost workers at least €26,000, plus benefits like free travel and the fuel allowance, according to the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU).
