Salary increases for council staff

Local authority workers will see their pay increase by 1.75% from this month. The increase, which takes effect from 1st September, was negotiated by Fórsa as part of the Public Service Stability Agreement (PSSA).

Daft advertising outcome welcomed

Fórsa has welcomed a Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) adjudication, which found that rental adverts on the property website daft.ie were discriminatory. The WRC said the ads discriminated on the grounds of housing status, age and family status.
