The work-to-rule action commenced last Friday (20th September) and withdraws school secretaries from work on public service systems and databases on the basis that if they are not paid or recognised as public servants, they will also refuse to carry out the functions of public servants.

Millions support climate strikes

An estimated four million people took part in the largest ever worldwide mobilisation for action on the climate crisis last Friday. The Irish organisers of the global climate strike said tens of thousands attended campaign events in more than 50 Irish cities and towns. These included large demonstrations in Dublin and Cork.

New deputy general secretary ratified

TUC chief to talk Brexit
