Cabin crew directly employed by Stobart Air in the Republic of Ireland are balloting for industrial action over the airline’s refusal to recognise Fórsa and negotiate with the union on staff pay and working conditions.

The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) will hold a hearing later this month to examine Fórsa’s claim for additional annual leave for clerical and executive officer grades in non-commercial semi-state organisations.

Fórsa is to consult members on a new three-year pay deal in Premier Lotteries Ireland following a Labour Court recommendation.
