Fórsa’s Aer Lingus Cabin Crew representatives are to return to the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) for talks on Friday 10th March, following the recent decision not to recommend a 10.25% pay offer to its 1,500 members.

The decision followed a recent meeting with management, at which the airline declined to apply to cabin crew uplifts already given to ground staff. Aer Lingus agreed to re-enter the WRC with the committee for talks on the matter.

The company recently recorded an operating profit of €45 million for 2022, following two years of significant losses, while its parent company IAG has also returned to profit. It recently posted operating profits of €1.26 billion in 2022, up from a €2.97bn loss the previous year.
