Fórsa attends Aviation Stakeholders Forum meeting
by Hannah Deasy

This week, Fórsa attended the Aviation Stakeholders Forum, convened by the Irish Aviation Authority. The Aviation Stakeholders Forum aims to foster the maintenance and improvement of aviation safety and to support the development of a positive aviation safety culture within the aviation community.

First established in September 2023, it was set up in the Air Navigation and Transport Act 2022. It provides an opportunity for all stakeholders involved in civil aviation in Ireland to get together to discuss areas of mutual concern.

Speaking about the meeting, Fórsa national secretary Katie Morgan said: “Attending the Aviation Forum is an important opportunity for us to hear how aviation safety regulations are developing and to engage with the IAA and other aviation stakeholders around safety.”

“The most recent meeting focused on key regulatory changes and topical safety issues. These updates are of vital importance and enhance our capacity to support our members in aviation.”
