All basic grade health and social care professionals (HSCPs), who are members of Fórsa in professions included in the HSCP career pathway review, are invited to attend an online information session at 1.00pm on Tuesday 2nd November.
The event has been organised by the Fórsa’s head of health and welfare, Éamonn Donnelly. Assistant general secretaries Catherine Keogh and Chris Cully, from the union’s National Health Office, will also attend the one-hour meeting.
Staff in the following professions are comprehended by the career pathway review: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, podiatry, dietetics, social work, social care and orthoptics.
Basic grade psychology members are also invited to attend the session, but are advised that psychology is not one of the professions comprehended by the review, as it subject to a separate review process on career pathways. An update on this process will be provided at the meeting.
If you wish to attend, please contact Diarmaid MacAbhaird by close of business today (Friday) at 5pm. A link to access the session will be circulated to those registered in advance on Tuesday morning.
