Fórsa representatives for Aer Lingus cabin crew are attending conciliation talks at the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) today, Friday 8th May, as part of an ongoing dispute over pay and conditions.
The talks follow several months of local engagement between the union and airline management, which did not produce agreement. Both parties subsequently agreed to refer the matter to the WRC in an effort to identify a mutually acceptable resolution.
Fórsa official Jim Sheridan said the union remains committed to constructive engagement throughout the process, while making clear that members expect a fair and sustainable outcome.
The WRC discussions are expected to focus on issues raised by cabin crew representatives during recent negotiations, including concerns relating to pay and the wider pressures facing aviation workers amid ongoing economic uncertainty.
Today’s talks are viewed as an important stage in determining whether agreement can be reached without any escalation in the dispute.
Join a union that wins. Join Fórsa.
