Industrial action by Fórsa members, planned to get underway last month, was suspended in order to facilitate talks on the dispute about outsourcing some of the legal work at South Dublin County Council.

Fórsa said management’s claim that it had consulted with members “did not meet the legal requirements of the 2006 Agreement on information and consultation.”
