Fórsa members will withdraw from all engagement with Councillors, as one of a series of measures being taken to show members’ determination to stop outsourcing.

 More than a hundred Fórsa members protested outside Galway City Council on Monday 10th March, calling on the Council to change course on the proposed move to Crown Square. 

Fórsa will host a series of nationwide meetings - at 15 venues over the next month - with school caretakers and secretaries, as part of Fórsa's continuing campaign for pension parity.

A pay deal for workers in the community and voluntary sector was finalised last week at the Workplace Relations Commission. The proposed deal is intended to address the pay gap between workers in community and voluntary organisations and equivalent grades in public sector organisations.
