Planned industrial action by Fórsa members at Barnardos, due to commence last month (25th June), was suspended by the union’s disputes committee following the employer’s decision to implement a 4% pay increase.

Fórsa has advised members working in HSE services to download and retain a copy of the newly agreed principles document on extended services, which outlines your rights and protections where changes to rosters or working hours are being proposed.  

Fórsa has written to members who are physiotherapists urging them not to pay an additional registration fee, which is being imposed on members who have recently completed training. 

As the local bargaining process continues, Fórsa has been surveying psychologists and social work members. The surveys are open until 5pm today, Friday 11th July.
