Thank you for helping to ease the burden of a very difficult year for a great number of people.
 
Fórsa members throughout Ireland's public services, in the private sector and state agencies, and in the community and voluntary sector, have ensured services to the public continued seamlessly throughout this very challenging year. They did so as they continued to provide care to family and loved ones.

As general secretary of your union I wanted to say thank you on behalf of all of us, the Fórsa family of 80,000 members.

We also owe a debt of gratitude to public transport staff, retail workers and the volunteers within our own communities for helping everyone come through an extraordinary time, while maintaining some sense of normality in day-to-day life.
 
All of you have been exemplary and deserve respect and gratitude for all you’ve done in the difficult year of 2020. With a sense of optimism for the future, we wish you all a healthy and happy year ahead.
