Thursday at Conference 2024 proved a busy day, with elections, motions and keynote speeches all on the agenda.

Following on from yesterday's highly successful fringe events, there are four on offer today at 1pm, across the car park in the Brehon Hotel.

Fórsa general secretary Kevin Callinan addressed the union's conference in Killarney on Thursday morning. In a wide ranging speech he told delegates that “social dialogue is meaningless unless it produces answers to real problems.”
