Welcome to the Fórsa Health and Welfare Division Conference - Wednesday 14th May

Failte go Leitir Ceanainn! Welcome to Letterkenny for your biennial Health and Welfare Divisional Conference 2025.

The Health and Welfare conference hall takes up both the Glencar and Glendowan Suites. Only principal delegates will have registered, they will have received ballot papers and credential cards, for delegates and observers, registered with their branch.

The registration desk will serve as a helpdesk for delegates while conference is running. All conference documentation is available on the website hub, which you can access here.

There will be a brief period of registration available from 9am until conference resumes at 9.15am tomorrow morning, for late arrivals. The full schedule is available here.

A fringe meeting on Strengthening Fórsa and Improving Member Services will be held tomorrow at 1pm in the Glencar Suite, at the rear of the Health and Welfare Conference Hall. If delegates wish to attend this fringe, they should register at the helpdesk or online here. Lunch will be available.

We have a myriad of exciting exhibitors joining us in the Ballyvaughan Suite. There are union stands, with Fórsa Youth, our LGBTQIA+ Network, the Retired Members' Association, and the Skills Academy all present. An array of companies who have partnerships with the union will be present, including Cornmarket, Symmetry Financial, and DubCo Credit Union

Also of interest is the Chocolate Man from Donegal. His handcrafted chocolate bonbons are renowned for the beauty of their artwork coatings and their equally sumptuous flavours. A perfect treat after a long day of debate!

The conference agenda is packed full of important motions, and we look forward to the debates and discussions ahead over the next two days. Don’t forget your union colleagues from the Local Government and Local Services division also have their conference running simultaneously, there are signs to ensure delegates know which hall to go to, and there will be plenty of opportunities for delegates to socialise together over the days ahead.

Join a union that wins. Join Fórsa.
