In the Irish Times, Emmet Malone reports on yesterday's interview with Katie Morgan and Ryanair's Darrell Hughes as part of the IRN annual conference.

Meanwhile, Fórsa's Galway protest on Monday gets coverage in today's Connacht Tribune as it reports that "More than 100 Fórsa members at City Hall picketed Council headquarters on Monday demanding that the local authority abandon its controversial €56.5 million move to Crown Square."

The Irish Times' editorial deals with inflation. The figures for February were published yesterday and: "show that price pressures overall remain moderate, with the annual rate slowing to 1.8 per cent. The recent inflation peak of 9.2 per cent in late 2022 now seems like a distant memory," and the editorial calls for further targeted - rather than universal - supports for those most affected by high energy prices

Elsewhere, the ICTU, the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) and the Construction Workers Health Trust have joined forces to launch the Clean Air Site Campaign to promote clean air practices on construction sites, in order to reduce long term exposure to dust and contaminated air.

Last of the Barcelona postcards. I went to see Seattle guitar player Bill Frisell in Barcelona on Sunday night. The gig was great and the venue was a nice surprise. El Molino is a great live music venue that manages to be plush and understated at the same time. And, as a Barcelona bonus, Mexican actor/director Diego Luna (Narcos, Star Wars:Rogue One/Andor) was sitting with us, just enjoying the show.

Have a lovely long weekend. Lá Fhéile Pádraig agaibh.
