The Irish Times reported yesterday that the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council renewed its warnings about the rate of public spending increases yesterday when it told the Oireachtas budget oversight committee that future budgets will become more, not less, dependent on rising corporation tax revenues to continue planned spending increases. 

 

Finally, the Government launched an updated Careers In Construction Action Plan yesterday, "building on the progress to date in boosting skills capacity to meet key housing, climate and infrastructural targets."
