Spring Sprung
by Niall Shanahan

The Irish Times reports that the Minister for Public Expenditure Paschal Donohoe has warned the “wrong type of people” could enter politics if the abuse of politicians continues.

Elsewhere, the paper leads with internal Tusla records that show many children in State care are living in overcrowded emergency accommodation, leaving some at risk of being abused as a result of having to share bedrooms with others.

Meanwhile, it's reported that Israel has informed the UN that it will no longer approve UNRWA food convoys to the north of Gaza

New research by PWC has revealed the the gender pay gap, measured on an hourly basis, declined marginally last year but large discrepancies still exist in certain industries, notably the legal profession.

Zen

With a definite feeling of spring in the air, I looked for a suitable song to capture the change of season. This doesn't strictly fit the bill but it's a great tune about the passage of time and is your Zen moment today.

Have a great week.
