Fórsa's clinical measurement physiologists attended the WRC yesterday. The talks were inconclusive and work-to-rule action by CMPs in acute hospitals and community hubs will start tomorrow (Friday).

Around 500 Information communication technology (ICT) workers in local authorities began a work-to-rule at 7am yesterday morning. The Fórsa action arises from an industrial dispute around workload, staffing levels, and alleged lack of professional recognition for their work. 

Also in the news today, Aer Lingus will shut its Manchester Airport base from 31st March, and a status yellow rain warning is in effect for Wexford, Wicklow, Waterford, Carlow, Dublin and Kilkenny until midnight
