Funny How?
by Niall Shanahan

Widely reported this morning, across the full spectrum of national and regional titles, is news that IALPA members have voted in favour of industrial action and - while direct talks with the airline continue - the widespread assumption is that industrial action is both likely and imminent

Elsewhere, Newstalk is focusing on challenges in the community and voluntary sector as it reports that The Wheel is calling on Government to normalise the provision of multi-annual funding arrangements and to establish a €10m fund for organisations providing tailored supports to marginalised communities. Pat Kenny's show will focus on recruitment and retention challenges for Section 39 organisations this morning at 11.20 (moved from its earlier 9.15 slot). Fórsa will feature in Josh Crosby's report on the programme.

Zen

Your Zen moment this morning is Pádraig O'Moráin's final wellness column for the Irish Times, extolling the virtues and benefits of laughter.

Have a great day.
