An interesting development in flexible working practices is reported in Pilita Clark's column in the Irish Times. A small tech start-up in Wales  - Lumen SEO - has abandoned its successful four-day week model, and will now conduct a three-month trial of a completely flexible 32-hour week. "Employees could work any time on any day from Monday to Sunday, anywhere they liked."

Finally, new research on barriers to social inclusion has found that people living in disadvantaged communities in Ireland face worse health outcomes than they previously did
