That Irish Independent coverage is here, and the RTÉ story here.

Elsewhere, AIB warns that Inflation in Ireland could accelerate to 7% this year if the Strait of Hormuz remains blockaded for an extended period and oil prices increase further.

The Irish Times editorial weighs in on the industrial action at the National Ambulance Service: "From the employees’ point of view, they were being asked to buy a pig in a poke, when what they sought was recompense for changes already made." RTÉ reports that the Labour Court will convene today aimed at resolving the dispute.

Ahead of the presentation of new opinion research on remote work at conference today, Margaret E Ward writes in the Irish Times that 'Work is broken': "Rigid workplace structures and increased focus on return to office mandates ignores modern reality that both parents need to work."

She highlights 2024 research reflecting higher productivity for hybrid workers. Despite the gains "many organisations have still not created a formal policy on remote or hybrid working, and only half of managers have been trained to manage hybrid teams."

Have a great conference.
