Meanwhile, Europe’s Pay Transparency Directive is due to become law in June, but many employers are yet to fully prepare their organisations for the change. Businesses are being urged to prepare for compliance with new rules demanding that they publish details on gender gaps in pay.

 

Martin Wall reports that the Government is looking at the introduction of a new incentive scheme to direct some of the €170 billion (!) held on deposit in banks and financial institutions into investment, as pressure builds to spend more on defence.
