Lorna Siggins reports that Oireachtas transport committee members expressed “shock” yesterday when they heard that Irish Coast Guard search and rescue (SAR) helicopter crews were threatened with disciplinary action if they logged 24 hours shifts as working for 24 hours. It follows yesterday's Transport Committee session with IEASA and IALPA branch representatives, led by Fórsa's Eugene Gargan.
