Good morning colleagues,

A majority of workers believe they are underpaid for the skills and effort they bring to their job. Ictu's Ireland Thinks survey also shows almost half feel they have no meaningful say in decisions relating to their working conditions. That story is in the Irish Times and the Irish Examiner.

Front page stories today include news that thousands of Irish travellers will be scanned by live facial recognition technology this week as part of UK immigration enforcement efforts at Holyhead port (Irish Times); housing Minister James Browne has said he will override local authorities to rezone land to speed up the delivery of housing if they do not begin the process themselves immediately (Indo); and third-level institutions will be asked to examine reducing the number of days students must be on campus for lectures to limit commuting and pressure on student accommodation (Examiner).
