Aside from Morning Ireland, the perfusionist dispute is reported by RTÉ, The Journal, and the Irish Medical Times.

Elsewhere, other media outlets anticipate the publication, due today, of the new SNA Workforce Development Plan. The Irish Examiner quotes Fórsa in the background analysis and reports that the plan "comes after two years of research, engagement, and consultation, which included the first national survey of SNAs with the Government indicating the plan has been “co-designed” with those working in the role every day."

The Journal's coverage refers to Fórsa's objective to professionalise the SNA role, "in particular concerning a career progression path and professional recognition for SNAs."

Meanwhile, RTÉ staff members have voted in favour of a “preventive” ballot for industrial action if management proceeds with further outsourcing of production or roles at the broadcaster.

Your Zen this morning is a tune from a Bristol outfit featured on Jools Holland's Later recently. Getdown Services exist in a space somewhere between Sleaford Mods, LCD Soundsystem and Half Man Half Biscuit (their eclectic YouTube channel includes an AC/DC cover). Dancy and eccentric and probably not for everybody, they're playing Vicar Street in December.

Have a great week.
