Also leading the news today are reports that Usice Éireann has warned Dublin City Council that plans to redevelop Dublin Industrial Estate in Glasnevin could be hampered by problems with limited water supply.

Elsewhere, 'senior figures' in the health service estimate the new National Maternity Hospital could ultimately cost close to €2 billion to develop.

Pat Leahy reported on the effect of the public sector pay deal on TD salaries at the weekend.

Zen

I stumbled across this piece of the RTÉ Archive at the weekend, which may be from the 'young people's' programme Youngline, presented by Conor McNally around the late 70s, early 80s. The process of publishing an evening paper brings together an almost unrecognisable series of lost skills.

Have a lovely week.
