The Business Post also reports that the Government is hinting at developer tax breaks in the upcoming Budget to 'tackle' the housing crisis. I'm sure that will be absolutely fine. 

 

Elsewhere, as Kenny Jacobs clears his desk at the DAA, Matt Cooper writes about another former Ryanair exec with a public services gig. This time it's former deputy chief exec Michael Cawley and his push for cost efficiencies in the HSE.

 

Finally, Cillian Quinn of Action Aid Ireland writes today in the Journal about how the EU is "making moves that would trample on hard-fought protections meant to prevent catastrophic workplace tragedies and environmental abuses" and says Ireland should stand up against that effort.
