Starjazzer

Continuing coverage of the dispute in health includes this in the Echo by Amy Campbell, featuring Fórsa's own Liz Fay.

Elsewhere, as we've explored here before there is a growing pushback from employers on remote and hybrid working. In the Indo, Anne Marie Walsh writes: "Working from home is fast becoming a battleground it seems, as it was revealed that 22 complaints relating to employee requests under new laws have already been lodged (at the WRC)."

Keep an eye out this week as the Central Statistics Office (CSO) will publish an update on consumer prices in Ireland on Thursday. Meanwhile, A pilot scheme aimed at enhancing safety and security across the Dublin Bus network begins on today.

The Dublin Theatre Festival continues until 13th October and in the past few days I've been sampling some of what's on. Last week I got to see thisispopbaby's latest production, a howl of a cabaret show called 0800 Cupid based on a run of catastrophic life experiences, while on Saturday Anú presented it's latest site-specific theatre piece based on the writing of Sean O'Casey. Starjazzer is an ambitious and atmospheric show and ties the experience of two women separated by a century but bound by experience.

For anyone who enjoys the TV show Taskmaster you'll be familiar with Alex Horne, show creator and heel to Taskmaster General Gred Davies. Alex and his band The Horne Section were in Vicar Street last night, delighting fans with a combination of whimsical music-based comedy...and some games. Terrific fun.

Have a great week.
