Good morning colleagues,
Fórsa's strong presence in the current news cycle continues.
Ruairi Creaney spoke to Virgin Media News yesterday about the problem of uninsured vehicles, as it was widely reported 19,600 were seized last year, and is at the heart of the dispute that will see driver testers take strike action on Friday (20th).
Meanwhile, Fórsa's SNA members were a hot topic across all media outlets yesterday. Andy Pike spoke on Morning Ireland and Claire Byrne's Newstalk programme. Shane Lambert took over the evening broadcast shift, speaking to RTÉ's Drivetime and then live from Leixlip with Sharon Tobin on last night's SixOne TV bulletin (from the 25min mark). Andy and Shane will be continuing the media rounds this morning on Limerick and Cork stations.
