Pax Bellicose
by Niall Shanahan

The Irish Times and Business Post report that Aer Lingus’s chief financial officer (CFO) Nessa McNeela "has decided to quit after a little over a year in the role."

The Irish Times reports that only a fifth of Irish employers believe they have made significant progress on the outstanding issues around the European Union’s pay transparency directive, according to a new survey.

The Irish Examiner reports that members of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors (AGSI) have rejected a new garda travel and subsistence scheme following a vote.

Elsewhere, public sector craft workers in the public sector, represented by the Public Sector Craft Group of Unions (PSCGOU), which is made up of Connect, Unite, SIPTU, BATU and OPTASI, have announced they will take industrial action later this month in the public service pay dispute.

Your Zen this morning is a little bellicose burst on Begley's bass.

Have a great day.
