The Garda Representative Association (GRA) has said said it is “shocked” and “disappointed” by the Minister for Justice "clearing the way" for new Garda disciplinary regulations to become operational from next week.

This survey in the Irish Times reveals an age factor in attitudes toward remote working: "Younger people were most likely (80 per cent) to say their job satisfaction has improved since they started working from home while those aged 50 to 59 were least likely (59 per cent) to feel this." A correspondent to the paper's Work Q&A section - a civil servant - highlights his concerns about isolation, mental health and remote working, not least because "there is little or no interaction with work colleagues, apart from the odd text."
