Today is the fourth day of strike action by Fórsa's school secretaries and caretakers and Andy Pike will be talking to Pat Kenny live on Newstalk this morning (scheduled for 10:40), while a rally will assemble at Leinster House this morning for 11.30.

Andy was interviewed on last night's Six One bulletin on RTE television, which includes a report by Emma O'Kelly on the effect of the decision, by a number of SNAs in Cabra yesterday, not to work in support of striking colleagues.

RTÉ's Liveline gave 18 minutes of sturm und drang to the same story yesterday. Presenter Colm Ó Mongáin tries to get his head around it, going as far as to wonder aloud if the SNAs ought to be balloted.
