Elsewhere, Dublin City Council has said it will remove and destroy lockboxes that have been attached to poles and cycle stands across Dublin city to distribute keys for Airbnb-style lettings, and there's some pushback on yesterday's news about rent pressure zones, while a public servant responds to yesterday's coverage of civil service career breaks in the Irish Times letters page.

A small confectionery company, Sugar Plum Sweetery, is producing more than 3,000 bars a day of a trending bar of chocolate, requiring 24/7 production. The bar is based on Knafeh, a Middle-Eastern pistachio-stuffed filo pastry that its creators have dubbed Can’t Get Knafeh Of It. The story of this global phenomenon - the 'Dubai chocolate bar' - was picked up by the New York Times. The Sugar Plum Sweetery is located in Mullingar.
