In other news, the DAA wants some political muscle to intervene in the row over the cap on passenger numbers at Dublin Airport.

 

Connect trade union's conference took place over the weekend, and delegates passed a motion calling for a legal right for workers to refuse to assist genocidal regimes.  

 

A group of recent graduates wrote to the leaders of Ireland's political parties to express their concerns about the state of the nation. Here's their letters, and the responses.

Your Zen this morning must sadly acknowledge the passing of another music legend this morning. Kris Kristofferson provided the soundtrack to my early childhood, as his greatest hits cassette was played in our kitchen on a loop. This is the song that always brings it back.
