Smeared Campaigns
by Niall Shanahan

Good morning colleagues,

The Irish Times leads with a story by Martin Wall, about how the Government is prepared to use legislation, if necessary, "to force several big hospitals, which are State funded but run by their own boards, to provide financial information to the HSE."

The other main stories today are continuing coverage of the arson attack on an IPAS centre in Drogheda at the weekend, where 28 people, including children, were in the building at the time. Coverage of the fallout, from Ivan Yates' side hustle on the doomed FF Gavin campaign, continues also.
