Five Minutes

In other news, one in five Irish people expect to still be paying off their mortgage in retirement, while a motion on pay parity for school wardens has been unanimously approved by Cork City Council, and new research shows high levels of air pollutants that can cause a range of respiratory, heart and brain issues have been detected across inner-city Dublin.

Tipp FM reports that Tipperary County Councillors have backed a Sinn Féin call for an orderly wind down of Uisce Éireann:"Councillors Annemarie Ryan Shiner and David Dunne are also looking to have water and sewage systems brought back under the control of the local authority."

Meanwhile, there's the question as to whether Trump's immigration plan will impact undocumented Irish.

In the pursuit of a concept for a better quality of life there has been much talk in recent years of the '15 minute city', an urban planning model where everything a resident needs in their daily life can be accessed within a 15-minute walk or bike ride, designing local areas to have everything civilians need within this distance.

While the concept has, inexplicably, become a target for conspiracy theorists, the Nordhavn district of Copenhagen appears to be leading the way forward. Meet the five-minute city and its happy residents.

Have a great day.
