Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good

In other news today, it's reported that the Government will formally recognise the state of Palestine in a long-awaited move expected to take place in the coming weeks.

Elsewhere, universities are projected to run combined deficits this year of about €15 million, as some colleges struggle to cope with rising costs.

The Indo reports that 58% of the workforce have remote or hybrid-working arrangements, describing this figure as a "notable reduction" compared with last September, when it stood at 79%.

Meanwhile, Bobby McDonagh writes in the Irish Times in response to a number of reported estimates on the costs associated with Irish reunification: When it comes to the cost of Irish unity, maybe it’s okay if the heart overrules the head.

Oh, and the weather is still banjaxed...but it might improve.

Zen

Your Zen moment today doffs the cap to Larry David as his improvised sitcom's final episode was broadcast on Monday night

Curb Your Enthusiasm has been delving into awkward social moments for 22 years so that none of the rest of us have to. Tremendous.

I recommend, in particular, season 4 where Larry is cast as Max Bialystock in a Broadway run of Mel Brooks' The Producers against Ben Stiller and David Schwimmer as Leopold Bloom.

Have a good day.
