The Irish Examiner leads with Harris's comments in its print edition this morning, while RTÉ report on the reaction.
The Irish Times editorial describes yesterday's National Economic Dialogue a "useful talking shop."
The Indo's piece on pay talks is available here.
It's also worth reading John Fitzgerald's column in The Irish Times yesterday, as he outlines the decline in the public service employment premium, illustrating the necessity to boost public sector pay: "across most areas, the Government will have to at least match private sector pay rates to achieve its workforce goals."
Kitty Holland continues her focus on developments at Oberstown in The Irish Times. She reports that the Children Detention Campus refused to accept 12 boys sent by the courts in the past year, including 10 in October, because it was full. She mentions that issues related to staff safety at Oberstown have been raised by the Fórsa trade union since the increases, and that these are before the WRC. Fórsa and Oberstown management are back in the WRC today.
Elsewhere, staffing issues raised by Fórsa at Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise will be on the agenda at the next meeting of Laois County Council.
Your Zen this morning features folk artists Sárán Mulligan and Muirine Nic Róibín coming together as part of The Anam Sessions, at Emo Court House. The Anam Session is produced in partnership by Other Voices and the Office of Public Works.
Have a great day.
