The Irish Times reports that the Government has stopped opening new asylum seeker accommodation centres in certain parts of the country, including north inner-city Dublin, due to “local and political feedback”, according to internal Government documents.

Meanwhile, it's also reported that Dublin City Council has commissioned a report to examine the effect of hybrid working on the need for offices, as low occupancy has become a “key issue” in the city centre.
